Yam Yu-tin (任雨田, 1894-1982) made martial arts movies in Shanghai during the silent era, then turned up in Hong Kong after the war. In 1950, he directed THE TWENTY-FOUR BRAVE ONES (江湖廿四俠), starring Tso Tat-wah (曹達華) and Law Yim-hing (羅艷卿). His daughter Yam Yin (任燕) and his sons Yam Tai-koon (任大官) and Yam Sai-koon (任小官) became kung fu actors.
